Campaign background
The main focus of the campaign is the young target group. We want to analise how do they behaveonline in comparision to adults. Essentially they are adults online. They use the content in the sameway, have accounts, send emails, watch youtube videos, research ... Our campaign wants to show that the target group starts already with at least 15. Exactly this young people need the explanation why there is online advertasing. If they are conscious that we need ads to have an access to a free content they will be aware of the idea of online ads and use the content more responsible.
How to catch the teenagers:The point is to be interesting for a young person. A funny, crazy looking aplication and website withinteractive content would bring them to look and read the informations. The app can be downloaded for free and if they don‘t want to download it there is a website as an option.
The negative effects of binge drinking. The adolescents‘ attention will be caught by bannersadvertising an app on the most fre- quented online community sites. This app can be downloaded forfree at iTunes.
Additionally, movies will be uploaded on youtube and similar video platforms.
By this approach, the target group will have an explanation how to deal with the ‚annoying‘ ads. Andfinally know if you want a free content you need to get over the ads – if not pay for it.
