Radke Directors

Ben Addelman

Craig Brownrigg

Born in New Brunswick, Canada, he started his career as a plumber with his family’s business. In 1996, he took on "black sheep" status within the family and moved to Toronto to become an agency creative instead. His work as a writer and creative director showcased his ability to make people laugh by having a firm grasp on craft and character driven stories. This earned him hundreds of international awards including Cannes Lions, Clios, One Show and D&AD.

He began his filmmaking career in 2000 and his first short film ‘Alfred's New Dog’ was screened at numerous film festivals around the world, including the Interfilm Festival (Berlin) and the Toronto International Film Festival. The short was also shown at the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum in New York City as part of an exhibition on independent children’s comedy films.

It made sense for Michael to transition to directing and he immediately came out of the gate hot with seminal work through Radke Films in Canada. His commercial directorial debut ‘Pyramid Scheme the Rainbow’ for Skittles was shortlisted at the Cannes International Advertising Festival and his recent work for Cheerios set the social world buzzing, scoring a place as AdWeek’s top ad of the week while sending #HowToDad trending on Twitter within days.

Michael Downing

Michael Downing started directing as a small child, when he used to tell his friends what game they were going to play and how it would end. He later studied acting and started his own small theatre company. He graduated from the American Film Institute and won a student Academy Award for his graduating short film, entitled Fine. His first American commercial was a Bud Light Super Bowl spot entitled Skydiver, which is still one of the most popular Super Bowl spots ever.

Anthony Scott Burns

Anthony Scott Burns is a self taught Canadian filmmaker. Deeply involved and fascinated by film from a young age, Burns would build small models that he called his « parallel universes ». By the age of 16, he began working on films, and created his own award winning shorts just two years later at the age of 18. He started his professional career as a graphic designer at MTV where he quickly outgrew his job title and took over creating/directing all the on-air interstitials in Canada. After his work on television was recognised internationally, he decided to return to directing and filmmaking. Anthony is part of the new breed of filmmakers who believe in doing whatever necessary to get his vision on screen - He shoots, edits, composes, animates, designs, renders, and grades most of his work. He has released 2 albums as his musical alter ego PILOTPRIEST, directed dozens of commercials, directed and shot episodes of television, and is now developing multiple feature films with Hollywood studios. Anthony has joined Troublemakers for european representation for commercials and music videos.
