Tonefarmer Team Members

Liz Higgins

Liz Higgins

liz joined tonefarmer in the spring of 2013. she cut her teeth over the previous six years working in commercial production, most recently on staff with smuggler. music has always had a major role in her life, though, since playing violin from age four in north carolina. so dismissing any and all warnings about getting into the music industry, she's happy to have brought things full circle.

lucky enough to be exposed so early, liz played whenever she could, even teaching a bit in high school. but once at the university of michigan, she pulled a dumb teenage move and outright quit. without the daily outlet, political science was frustrating to say the least. so she changed her focus to film, which eventually brought her to new york. now happily separated from the cutthroat world of high school auditions, she plays in the band industries of the blind, instead channeling her competitive energy to strategy-based board games. otherwise, long walks on the beach, disturbing comedy, and carrot cake are totally her jam.

Raymond Loewy

Raymond Loewy

founder / composer / sound designer

back again to man the pivot for tonefarmer this year is raymond loewy, always a dependable threat in the low post. while some say he's lost a step getting up & down the court, loewy still is able to use his big derriere to muscle aside weaker opponents in the paint - he again led tonefarmer last year in boards and rejections, and was second only to joseph spallina in charges taken. asked to explain his special proclivity for garbage-pail work around the right side of the basket, loewy claims it's because his right eye is significantly higher on his face than his left one - "kind of like a picasso painting", he notes.

when not on the hardwood, loewy enjoys music by freddie fender, ralph vaughan williams, bob keeshan, stephen sondheim, killing joke, and other similar artists.

Tiffany Senft

Tiffany Senft

President/Partner

tiffany grew up in sunny modesto in california's central valley where summers can top 110 degrees and winters lay blanketed in some of the thickest fog you'll never be able to see through. in spite of these hardships, she somehow survived.

tiffany attended san francisco state university, where she earned a degree in international relations. clearly this helped her land to first job out of school as an account executive for goodby, silverstein and partners. after a record-breaking 12 interviews someone took pity on her and gave her not only a job, but also the beginning of a career. thanks guys.

after five years of working on some of the greatest accounts (sega! and norwegian cruise line), tiffany headed up to portland where she helped the rest of the team at wieden + kennedy re-brand miller genuine draft. after three years of beer bongs and keg parties she accepted the position of director of creative resources at deutsch and headed to their new york office where she became instrumental in shaping creative culture. once in new york, she created the deutsch lecture series where creative minds from all aspects of entertainment where invited to wax poetic on the creative process. john waters kicked off the series and was soon followed by eric bogosian and david sedaris among others.

in 2001 tiffany decided it was time to leave the agency nest and a steady paycheck and join up with long time friend raymond loewy. the duo hasn't looked back since. when not discussing the finer points of tempo and bass lines, tiffany spends her free time at the shore with her husband carl, their two kids, greta and george and their dachshund, lively.
