An agency veteran of 22 years, Jim served as Chief Client Officer for four years prior to being named CEO. In this role, he was responsible for leading all 35+ agency client accounts, including Alltel Wireless, Cadillac, Carrier, Chicken of the Sea, Consumers Energy, General Motors, Ghirardelli, Kaiser Permanente, Olympic Paints and Stains, OnStar, USAA, the United States Navy, the University of Michigan, and Western Governors University.




Since 1998, Jim has been the major architect behind the agency’s “growth culture,” diversifying and expanding the client roster into new categories such as financial services, health care, consumer goods and government services.




Prior to that and since joining Campbell Ewald in 1991, Jim led sales and marketing for the agency’s publishing division, and then ultimately led the entire division, where it grew to become the largest agency-based custom publisher in the U.S.




He obtained his Bachelor of Science degree from Michigan State University with continuing education at the University of Chicago, Stanford University and the University of Detroit.
