Joaco is an Art Director with 8 years of professional experience in the latin market. Some of the agencies where he’s worked at are Circus Grey Lima, McCann Lima and Y&R Lima.
Joaco was born in Peru, where he worked for brands such as The Coca-Cola Company, DirecTV, MasterCard, Nestle, Mitsubishi and Scotiabank, among other brands.
During his career path, he’s won awards in some of the most important advertising festivals around the world such as Cannes, D&AD, Clio, New York Festival, Webby Awards, El Sol, El Ojo de Iberoamerica, FIAP, as well as in his local creative circle. His work has also been published by The Guardian, Creativity Online, The Drum and Euro News.
He believes in ideas, in the creative potential of popular culture, and in advertising that doesn't look like advertising. In building emotional connections between brands and people and hard work. In the importance of integration- starting with himself, developing a set of skills such as copy writing, editing, animation, illustration as well as craft in design.
