That’s why Carlton Dry, the beer that prides itself on being uncomplicated, with agency Special Group Australia, have delivered the hard and cringe-worthy truths about silly season, in the true medium of Christmas : a celebratory season song. Adapting the iconic Andy Williams song “It’s The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year” to be more fitting for the times, the song is titled “It’s The Most Wonderful Time For A Beer”. The revised lyrics list off all the complicated things that come with Christmas time - the shopping traffic jams, the office hook-ups, even having your racist auntie over for lunch. Supporting the song is this festive karaoke-style video produced by Photoplay and directed by Scott Otto Anderson. Mariah and Bublé, watch the throne. |
