hikaye | In the face of a young man wearing a wreath made out of barb wire, Amnesty International Greek Section acknowledges all people in this world being unjustly crucified by a few evil others with abused power. The biblical metaphor uses a paraphrasing of Jesus' words for forgiveness, wondering how could we forgive them when they know what they are doing. |
felsefe | We used a biblical metaphor referring to Jesus' humiliation of being forced to wear an acanthine wreath. Humanity in our days suffers from the same humiliation by a few abusive and in many cases deranged people. The strong bilingual message was meant to sensitize Greeks about issues of human rights, one of Amnesty International's key goals. |
