And this Father’s Day, the brand is proving it with a film that tells the real life story of Baby Akili who was born 4 months premature, narrated in moving detail by his father. Weighing just over a pound and with only a 15% chance of survival, doctors encouraged Akili’s father and mother to hold him. But instead of a goodbye hug, it became the turning point for their son’s miraculous road to recovery. The film was shot on location at Benioff Children’s Hospital in Oakland, California. Akili’s story went live Monday, June 11thon Facebook and will play through Father’s Day. |
