hikaye WWF France decided to illustrate the ecological challenges of tomorrow for young people using one of their most popular forms of media: video games. One game in particular fit the bill: Fortnite. In-game, players use natural resources (wood, stone, metal) to build, survive and ultimately reach the Victory Royal. This provided the idea for the first eco-friendly challenge: the #NoBuildChallenge. The rules were simple – players had to proceed through the game without exploiting any natural resources.

Inauguré ce weekend par la team Solary, l’une des plus importantes équipes esport française, ce défi invite la communauté des gamers à jouer en suivant une toute nouvelle règle : préserver notre planète.
La règle du #NoBuildChallenge sur Fortnite est simple. Les gamers sont appelés à jouer sans exploiter les ressources naturelles du jeu (le bois, le métal, la pierre...), ce qui leur permet à l’origine de progresser et de décupler leurs compétences pendant la partie.
