I'm a leader in advocating the role of diversity in successful companies and how design is a catalyst for achieving this.

Abbie Walsh is a service design pioneer, driven by an unshakable belief in design as a force for good. Having been a DJ and a journalist at moments in her colourful career, Abbie’s extensive design experience has seen her take a leading role designing services that have changed the way we live (including the BBC iPlayer). Her unremitting curiosity around progress in the design industry exposes Abbie to examples of groundbreaking work that fuel her quest for innovation. She has high expectations of the breadth of challenges designers can solve, and is fascinated to see how they wield their craft to design human-centric solutions.
At Fjord, Abbie sees through complexity to articulate new ways of thinking that enable her and her teams to imagine the future and design the products and services we’ll all come to rely on. She oversees Fjord UK and Ireland, leads key clients through their digital transformation journeys, and fulfils a global and regional remit to mentor leaders. Abbie was a juror for the D&AD Awards 2018, and one of Creative Review’s top fifty creative leaders of 2018. She was voted one of the Drum’s Digerati 2017 and 18.
