Gabriela Bastidas

Gabriela Bastidas is a young Creative Graphic Designer from Ecuador currently working at Paradise DDB. She was chosen in 2022 to represent her country and be part of the Roger Hatchuel Academy at Cannes Lions. Each year, they choose just 25 of the most young creatives around the world to take part in this program. Learning from the best creatives of the industry and the world such as Malala, Ted Sarandos, Ryan Reynolds, David Shing. Her work has also been recognized by Effie Awards, The One Show, A! Diseño. She believes that creativity can be used to help solve different problems of the world. She has served as coordinator and volunteer in Diseña Futuro, an institution that uses the Design thinking method doing mentorships and talks to empower and inspire young kids from her country Ecuador sharing what she has learned. Helping them to develop projects to solve a problem from their communities using the power of creativity.
